SHIPPING + RETURNS

RETURNS  FOR  PURCHASES  MADE  IN-STORE    

We allow returns on items within 10 days of purchase for a Full Refund + up to 30 days for Store Credit. Items must be unused, unaltered, with tags attached + receipt or gift receipt to be valid for return. Items that have make-up stains will not be eligible for refund or store credit. Sale items, gift cards, bath, body + home cleaning items are final sale.

All merchandise must be returned in its original, undamaged condition; Unworn, unwashed, unaltered, free of make-up or deodorant stains, and tags attached. Shoes must be returned with no wear + accompanied by their original bag or box.

We allow returns on items within 10 days of receipt of package for a Full Refund + up to 30 days for Store Credit. Items must be unused, unaltered, with tags attached + receipt or gift receipt to be valid for return. Items that have make-up stains will not be eligible for refund or store credit. Sale items, gift cards, bath, body + home cleaning items are final sale.

Shoes must be returned with no wear + accompanied by their original bag or box. Return shipping fees are non-refundable. Please review your returns carefully prior to sending them in. Items sent back that do not meet these standards will not receive a full refund or store credit.

Please note that you, the customer, are responsible for the shipping + handling of the returned item. 

Vernacular reserves the right to determine eligibility for returns + to update this policy at any time without notice. Vernacular is not responsible for any return packages that are lost or damaged.

D A M A G E D   O R   D E F E C T I V E   M E R C H A N D I S E ?
We carefully inspect every piece that comes in, but in the rare case that you might receive defective or damaged merchandise, please contact our Returns Department at orders@shopvernacular.com within 3 days of receiving your order. We’re sorry, but there no exceptions to the timing of this policy.

T O   M A K E   A   R E T U R N   F O R   A N   O N L I N E   P U R C H A S E
[1]  Fill out the Return Form included in your original shipment. There is also a copy of the Return Form at the bottom of this page.
[2]  Include in your package the filled out Return Form as well as the original packing slip from your original shipment. If you need an additional form please scroll down and print the attached form.
[3]  Send your package back to us [1634 W. 1st Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43212] via shipping method of your choice. Please note your tracking number from your label for your own records.
[4]  Once we receive your package, allow up to 4 business days for return processing. When your return is processed you will be emailed a notification. It can take 7-10 business days for your personal bank to process the refund into yoru account. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed on the same card used for the original transaction. If the original purchase card is no longer available, you will be issued a gift card.
P R E F E R   T O   R E T U R N   I N   P E R S O N ?
In the event that you are located near one of our brick + mortar locations + would prefer to drop your return off in-store + save shipping fees, you are welcome to do so. We will still need the filled out Return Form + your original Order Form. Please note that our stores act as a drop-off point for Online Returns only.They will not be processing your return. Your return will be transferred to our Returns Department at our Home Office to be validated. Please allow up to 4 business days for return processing.

A 7.5% sales tax charge is applied to purchases shipped to an Ohio address.

A 6.27% sales tax charge is applied to purchases shipped to a Texas address.

A 5.3% sales tax charge is applied to purchases shipped to a Georgia address.
